I will be playing  for Artlink’s  18^thannual Artlink Juried Exhibition, 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, in the Steele Auditorium at the Heard Museum in midtown Phoenix. Fifty artworks by 45 exceptional Arizona artists will be presented in this special one-night-only event.

A panel of three jurors from the Arizona arts community chose the 50 exhibition pieces from 256 submissions, the most entries in the history of the competition. The jurors were these prominent members of the Phoenix arts community: Nancy Hill, owner of Chartreuse gallery, artistFred Tieken, and Ann Marshall, Ph.D., the Heard Museum’s director of curation and education.

Three winners of the 2016 Exhibition will receive cash awards. Winners will be announced at the exhibition.

For the first time, the top award will be an acquisition prize, funded by Baron Properties.

Fortunately, this has never happened to me!

This Saturday, 3/14/15 (π day!) Be sure to check out the Phoenix St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Faire. I’ll be playing with the Strand on Saturday at 10:45 in the Great Hall. $10 for a day of festivities.

And that evening, we’ll be playing a long set at Fiddlers Dream Coffeehouse.
