Today while playing at the hospital, I met a young man who played piano. He tried out the harp and picked it up pretty quickly, and we jammed a little bit – him on the Steinway in the hospital lobby, and me on the harp. It is so fulfilling to interact with people who listen to me when I am playing!
The best are the little kids – sometimes they are patients, but most of the time, they are brothers or sisters of patients. We sing together, and sometimes I show them how the harp works. One little boy, about three years old, requested “Ring of Fire!” Time to update my fakebook, I guess 🙂

Very nice. Loved the article about your work at the hospice.
